The Brief
PURIS sells a simple product: pea protein powder. They make the highest quality protein in the pea protein world – all wrapped up in flawless packaging.
Puris wanted to capitalize on the egg selling market. Their question: why aren't there many sustainable alternatives to eggs? With that in mind, the scientists at Puris went to work and developed Acremade.
Acremade is an egg-based powder. Like magic, it only requires water to work -- and it's indistinguishable from the real thing. They knew that and wanted to showcase their product. The idea was to produce two videos, a testimonial ad and a branding ad, that would show people the Acremade difference.
The Solution
We laid out a series of storyboards to produce a testimonial video, brand awareness video, and tutorials on how to properly use the product.
Preparation is key. We gathered the necessary B-roll for both videos. In order to achieve all of this in a single-day shoot, we capitalized on recycling hgh-quality shots. We gathered footage from another Puris deck bring consistency to the branding video.
In the end, we were able to tell two stories with the same result: when you want plant-based eggs, go Acremade.
A Look Behind the Scenes
The crew sets up an overhead rig with a director monitor, along with proper lighting on the subject and a B cam operated on a gimbal to cut too.
