The Brief
PURIS sells a simple product: pea protein powder. They make the highest quality protein in the pea protein world – all wrapped up in flawless packaging.
They were selling on a wholesale level, but wanted to become a direct-to-consumer brand. We wanted to create compelling videos that would accompany their digital sales channels and complement the assets they already had.
Our challenge was to find a way to make the protein powder pop on screen, to make it the most visually compelling part of the video.
The Solution
We laid out a storyboard that would tell this organic, non-GMO, pea protein’s story all in around thirty seconds.
We created a DIY strawberry banana smoothie recipe that wouldn’t take away from the real star of the show. By putting PURIS packaging in front of a black backdrop, and next to two colorful foods, we were able to make it shine.
We navigated breaking a blender by manually spinning the blades, getting a good probe lens shot of the product in action.
The Result
We produced a video that was exciting, enthusiastic, and clearly communicated their USP. The video gives PURIS Pantry a prime spot, even putting the fruit to shame.
Our work helped them drive sales as a direct-to-consumer brand.
